Gold Bank London® carries the right to update and change the website without having to give a notice or prior warning to the public. Furthermore, our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Any terms and conditions you come into consequence on whilst you use on our website will all be subject and in line with the law of England & Wales.
1. Our prices and payment
On the www.gold-bank.co.uk website, our live prices are clearly visible and will be fixed at the time you place your order. Multiple orders placed at a similar time may be subject to changes in the price due to market fluctuations and stock availability decided during trading hours. We reserve the right to cancel any order even after the payment received. If Gold Bank London does for any reason cancel an invoice a full refund would be issued directly to you.
You may be asked for a small deposit which is non-refundable. For online orders greater than £30,000.00 whether placed during or outside trading times (9 am-5 pm Monday to Friday) we will confirm the prices to you via an order confirmation, which will be sent in an email to you. You will be asked at that time to make a payment. We respectfully request payment within 48 hours. Prices can also be fixed over the phone by speaking to our sales team directly. Payment is now possible by Debit and Credit card on the website for orders up to £5,000.00 (ID requirements apply). Other methods of payment are online bank transfer, bank transfer. Please note payment can only be accepted from accounts registered in your own name and payment via multiple individuals for one order is not permitted.
At the time an order has been made it is vital our customers provide a delivery address as without this an order cannot be made. The delivery address provided MUST match the cardholder’s address which has been used to make an online card payment. The ordered goods cannot be delivered to any other address but the one the card that made the payment is registered to. The goods that have been ordered will only be delivered to the address once the payment has been verified. Gold Bank London is unable to provide any responsibility for packages that are or are being delivered to houses that have multiple occupancie's or work addresses. In addition to this, we do not deliver to any PO box addresses. Regarding our postal system that is through the Royal Mail, we cannot be held accountable for delays that initially could affect the delivery of your goods as this is beyond Gold Bank London's control.
Orders made for our company can be made on our website www.gold-bank.co.uk Once a customer has placed an order, cancellation is not possible as the precious metals market has a fluctuating nature. Furthermore, it is not possible under the distance selling regulations, we will pursue the payment for all orders placed.
4. Cancellations and returns
The right to cancel under Regulation 13 of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 does not apply because the price of all goods that we sell is dependent upon fluctuations in the financial markets that are beyond our control. In the event that you wish to cancel an order for an item which you have paid for prior to its coming into stock, in consequence of price fluctuation, the cancellation charge will be 2.5% of the total order value, plus any consequential loss owing to the fluctuation in the price of the metal.
We are happy to provide you with a refund or exchange in line with your rights as a consumer. Any queries with your products received must be reported to us within 48 hours. However, if we feel the coins meet the standard as described then we will be unable to provide a refund for the cost of postage. If we do deem a product to be below the standard we will happily provide you with an exchange or refund, however, the products must be returned to us in the original state in which they were received.
Due to the nature of the following product types we will not accept returns of, or provide refunds for; Bullion Coins, Bullion Coins Uncirculated, Proof Coins, Pre-Owned Coins or any coins with ‘milk spots’ unless the items are damaged to a point where they no longer contain the stated amount of precious metal. We cannot be held responsible for the condition in which any mint provided packaging is received. We reserve the right to cancel any order as we see fit and return the funds to the customer.
Made in advance orders that have been paid fully can then be collected after we have contacted you from our store. (215 The Broadway, London, Middlesex, UB1 1NB) This is our only collection point. On your arrival, you must be able to bring identification and a copy of the invoice for the goods you are collecting. We cannot release any goods to any third party due to security reasons.
6. Fraud prevention & requirement for ID
During some circumstances, our customers may be required to provide us with proof of Identity aid the anti-money-laundering & fraud legislation that governs our industry. We may ask for this information to help our internal security checks in order to provide safe delivery of your product. Where we request proof of address, we are unable to accept a mobile phone bill.
For orders over £5,000 or for repetitive orders of over £10,000 in any one year, we require a certified copy of the purchaser's photographic ID and a copy of a recent utility bill. We may use your personal information to conduct anti-fraud checks. The information which you supply may be given to credit reference or fraud prevention agencies. 8. Terms of purchases
Our duty to take reasonable care of items that you dispatch to us for this purpose will commence when we have signed for the relevant package. For the avoidance of doubt, any such signature shall not be taken to comprise acknowledgment on our part that the items within the package match their stated description. It is our procedure to weigh all incoming packages before opening them under the camera and carrying out a detailed inspection of their contents. If the contents match their stated description, we will confirm this at the same time as confirming our acceptance of your offer to sell the items. We reserve the right to report any attempted sale of counterfeit items and to retain such items if requested to do so by the police or by HM Revenue & Customs.
